Salon Policies

Before making an inquiry or scheduling an appointment, it is imperative that clients read and agree to the following policies. These are non-negotiable and serve as a framework to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial grooming experience.

Size Restriction

Due to the nature of my business, I can not accept any XL dogs, or extremely hairy breeds such as (but not limited to): Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees, Tibetan Mastiffs, [Wooly] Alaskan Malamutes, etc.

Prohibited Breeds

To prioritize the safety and well-being of both the groomer and pets, the following breeds or breed mixes will not be accepted:

- Akita

- Chow Chow

- Shar-pei

Aggressive Dogs

Any dogs whom have previously been dismissed from grooming salons, or dogs requiring muzzles will not be accepted for grooming services. My hands are my work and I can not accept the risk or liability of taking a dog that is prone to biting or misbehavior. If your dog is deemed unsafe to continue, your dog will be sent home and charged for the service I was able to provide.

Age

There is no limit as to how young a dog can be, but I unfortunately will not take any dogs over the age of eleven. While I can offer the low-stress and quiet environment, many senior dogs are prone to or have health issues I am not comfortable grooming with. Furthermore, I am a spa and forcing elderly dogs through the grooming process isnt something I enjoy. I highly recommend seeking a veterinary groomer for your elder dogs!

Tardiness& Pickup

In our 1-1 grooming salon, punctuality is of utmost importance to ensure the smooth flow of appointments and provide each client with the dedicated attention they deserve. Due to the personalized nature of our services, we cannot accommodate tardiness, as it would disrupt the carefully planned schedule for the day. Any later than 15 minutes of your scheduled time, your dog's appointment will be cancelled and a fee will be charged. Furthermore, we kindly request that all dogs be picked up within 30 minutes of receiving notification about the completion of their grooming session. Fees will apply for late pick-ups, and your dog will be kenneled after 30 minutes so that I can give my full attention to my next client. 

Cancellations & Fees

We kindly request a 24-hour notice for any cancellations; Cancellations made within this timeframe or on the same day may incur a charge equivalent to 50% or more of the scheduled grooming session. Additionally, in cases of a no-call-no-show, clients will be required to place a deposit before their next booking to secure their appointment. To maintain fairness and accommodate our committed clients, after two instances of a no-call-no-show, we regretfully will be unable to accept further bookings.

Vaccines

I require current and up-to-date proof of Rabies, Distemper and Parvo for every dog upon booking/BEFORE they arrive. This is waived for puppies not old enough to have them, and the appropriate sanitization methods are always in place to ensure their safety.

Pricing

All prices are starting estimates, not quotes. I can not give a firm price until I can feel the condition of your dog and see its size, coat, your requests, etc. Therefor, all prices are subject to change and may vary from appointment due to changes (such as more matting one time, behavior, etc). This is not something excessive, but to keep in mind. If your dog is in perfect condition and $170 one time, and comes back with matting that needs to take 30+ minutes more of brushing and shaving, more charges will incur. There are also [optional] add-ons if you so please!
